We have followed traditions of sensitive indigenous design to impact millions of visitors to the area.

Our work benefits not only natives of the Appalachian Mountains, but reaches beyond the mountain borders in three ways. Firstly, our environmentally sensitive structures—restaurants, motels, cabins, condominiums, wedding chapels and shops-- have provided meals, lodging, and other services to many of the nine million tourists (often eco-tourists) who visit the Smoky Mountain park annually. Six of these structures have earned Gatlinburg’s prestigious Awards of Excellence. A more recent project will impact over 300,000 racing fans annually with a unique pop culture racing parts facility, while respecting and exhibiting the impacts of natural forces in his design.

Secondly, we have promoted environmental design through unsolicited articles about his work, in national periodicals. And finally, visitors carry back with them memories of experiencing a special piece of nature, in a uniquely appropriate way. Our passion for technological advances has spurred continuous growth and sharing of knowledge with contemporaries, and mentoring of younger associates.
